mauranger.no in English | A huge step into World Wide Web

| | | | | A new era Mauranger.no is expanding its content and will now be available in English version. The content on the English pages is mainly directed at tourists in order to profile our region to foreign visitors. | | | We believed angels only lived in heaven... Our editors have for a long time talked about an English version but due to our meagre knowledge of English we were not comfortable in showing the world our skills. Last winter however, an angel appeared in our inbox. Marianne McFarland offered to translate our web pages free of charge as she thought they were perfect for tourists. | | | Tourist Information Marianne lived in Wales, UK for 12 years and has previously worked with translation. Through her present job on a hovercraft for “Tide sjø” she gets many questions from tourists. She can now refer to this website when Americans ask about their relatives, Germans about good fishing or any tourist who come here for the famous and powerful nature. | | | We are very happy for the unexpected involvement from Marianne and we would like to thank her for the work she has put down during this winter. We are also grateful she has committed herself for further development of our website. | | | Welcome to mauranger.no | | | | | | Text: Ottar Eide Translation: Marianne McFarland Photo: ingfrid Øyre | | | Published 03.05.10 | | | | | | | |
